  1. After reading many posts and doing many experiments, I finally converted a .mpg to .bin and burned in Nero. This resulting in an SVCD's that now FF/RW.

    BUT

I did this procedure the other day....no prob, worked like a charm. Today, I went to burn two more movies on two different computers with the same versions of Nero (5.5.2.4) and VCDImager (.6), same media as the other day, and all I get is a blue screen. The DVD (Apex 703) appears to be reading the disc, but when I hit play (or I've tried overriding PBC), the screen and counter just sit there, blue. Yes, I'm loading the .cue and insuring it's path line is correct, and I tried Nero 5.5.1.1, all with the same result. The original .mpg's play normally on both computers. I've gone over the conversion/burning directions a zillion times, and I'm following it to the letter. The ONLY thing different is the burner. The burner's I used today are Mitsumi, and yesterdays was another brand (came with my Dell). Could it be the burner (I can't test right now as I have a movie processing on it until tomorrow night)? Is there and installation procedure for VCDImager other than unzip and run the .exe? Am I missing something really stupid?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  3. Well.....

I can now verify that my Mitsumi burners will not properly burn a .bin file. The other burner I have which came bundled with my Dell (I have no idea what it is) will consistently burn .bin's, no problem. Go figure......

    Good luck

  4. My Mitsumi will burn BIN/CUE images with CDRWin, but not with Nero.
