burning problems - cdrwin

i'm having problems with my roommates computer. i've burned over 200 vcds on my computer without a hitch but with his i'm getting an odd problem.

i'm using cdrwin 3.9b. when the bin/cue finishes and it starts writing the leadout track it freezes the program. the light on the cdr drive goes out, and is then unable to be opened. i can't open the cd drive until i restart the program. the disc still seems to work fine even though i never get a successful completion message and it still seems to be writing the leadout track.

my question is what is the leadout track for, and do you know any solutions? it's a pain in the ass to restart the computer after each disc burned.

Are you burning from cue/bin's if so try another program. Nero or Burnatonce
