    I've got this video file (an AVI) that says it has PCM audio. I'd like to convert it to MP3, but Vdub gives me an error about not being able to initialize when I try to save the new AVI.

    What do I need to do?

    Use TMPGEnc and copy lame.exe(free in Tools)to folder.Use the regular GUI(not the wizard),load the AVI file in Audio,select Settings,then select mpeg-1 layer III,J-Stereo and the bitrate.
