Im converting both divx and svcd to vcd...if you ask why so i can fit a movie and a sigle cd with good quality is my goal..so i have 4 movies already which went good and turned out great. then all of a suddon using either tmpgenc both the free and pro version it starts and will go anywhere from 1% to 15% and freezes and i get a ( not responding error )..If i run a sample clip with tmpgenc it will do the whole file...with the pro it sometimes will do the whole clip other times it will go to 100% then stop. and things are stay greyed out so still freezes. i have tried difffernt movies with results the same for each.. i tried moving multimedia to the top in the evirmental settings. this doesnt seem to affect the free version but with the plus if i dont do this it will freez up with even the smallest file.

I also borrowed mainconcept mpeg encoder v1.3 from a friend it will complete processing the file but when watching the movie when its about 90% into the file weather this is a clip or one side of a movie makes no difference the audio will keep going but the video freezes.

Also tried Homestech Mpeg Encoder v4.0 it will complete a small file but with large files it will freez through the encode process.

I tried installing Nimo beta 9 still nothing. I did have directx 9.0a but read that this affects Mainconcept so unistalled it and installed directx 8.2 Im not sure if directx may leave traces of itself behind so dx9 may still be affecting things.

Sorry for the long post but trying to put as much info as i can... Any help in this would be so much appreciated i am dumb founded at whats wrong.
