Hi,
I currently live in the UK and have a NTL Digital box that I would like to capture images from at the best possible quality.
However, the box only has RGB and Composite outputs.
How much better would Svideo be in comparison to a Composite signal in terms of capture?
Im looking at this converter, http://www.rgbtosvideo.com/rgb-sv/rgb-circuit.htm to convert the RGB signal to Svideo to my VIVO card. Can anyone confirm that this would/not work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Regards

At £75 its a fair amount to pay, and I am wondering whether or not the increase in picture quality (if there is any) would justify it. Would a step up from Composite to Svideo be significant?

depends on your standard of quality ... for dvd i would say yes -- for vcd or svcd i would say its up to you but prob. not worth it
