For those of you with a Panasonic dvd recorder and a digital television, how do your recordings from an analog source look. I have a an analog set and my analog recordings look pretty good to me. I think this is because my frame of reference is real dvd on an analog set, the gap is narrower. I've been looking at digital tvs and the dvd-rs look worse. I don't believe they are actually worse, but that the prerecorded dvds look so friggin' good that the reference I judge them by has changed. I'm dead set on getting a 16 x 9 and curious to hear how enjoyable analog recordings are on digital tv.
