yes note pad..but rename to VOB outside NOTEPAD cause it has the annoying habit of adding a .TXT extension to the file which will defeat what youre trying to do!

As long as nothing is going to access the vob that might work. A vob file is a container, and there can be all sorts of things in it. Yes its video but the layout of the video will vary. Because of that its hard to just make a "Blank Vob" that will work in every curcumstance.

  7. Or you can create a zero length file by doing this.

    1) Go to a command prompt
    2) at the command line type:
    copy con blank.vob
    3) Press Enter
    4) Press F6
    5) Press enter

    Zero length file created!

there is a 12kb blank vob file HERE, you just rename it to whatever you want

but 1st strip all the VOB ID's apart from one, then replace the original stripped VOB with the blank VOB and simply use VOB EXTRAS again to strip but this time keep VOB ID1#1 and this will keep the DVD structure valid

    what guides you reading?

    are they mine from HERE?
