What size (in pixels) should a still image be in JPG format, for it to look good when authored onto an svcd (in still mpeg2 naturally)? I don't seem to get the hang of this...the stills always end up looking slightly pixelated. :<

Generally speaking MPEG stills are 704x480. But there are a lot of variable at play: what resolution is your source, what resolution are you encoding into, what bitrate, did you use NTSC safe colors, etc.
