help me please!!!!!??

okay, i have a pioneer a05 (dvd-rw), and a toshiba sd210e standalone dvd player, i have burnt many many many dvds,svcd,vcds and all worked perfect in my dvd player... got svcd2dvdmpg+ finally yesterday, after looking forward to getting it!!! but i have a BIG problem, i converted some svcds and put them on dvd (author) burnt it okay, went to play it on my standalone, and i get this problem where the screen is split in half.. its hard to explain so i will try to do a picture!!

i nearly cried when i saw it come out like that!!! its works 100% in my pc, and i have tried burning the samples also i get the same problem with them. ((( im using nero, ive tried both ways, including udf102, still same output.. i have burnt hundreds of dvds/svcds/vcds with no problem at all before... can anyone help me use this great program????????
