Now this is the one --> Premiere6 exported avi can not open in CCE SP2.5. Sony PC5 captured avi with Premiere6 will lopen fine in CCE??? Yes, I had to get MC demo codec which helped open direct captured avi, but exported avi will not work. Both avi show MC_DVD as their codec?
CCE reports "could not find approprate codec for DSVD". Note that this is D S V D, not the trivial dvsd codec message which is solved my main concept free dv codec.
HELP?

You might want to try frameserving the AVI to CCE w/ AviSynth. Can you open the AVI in other programs? How big is the AVI (ie. the 2GB and 4GB limits, although frameserving should fix that).

Yes, I can open the avi in question in TMPGenc and other apps like Vdubb. Its 300M - just a test for now. It appears that Premiere export MS DV is not the same as Premiere capture MS DV??? How do people solve this simple problem - encode with CCE a Premiere produced avi?
