    with the increase in linux encodeing?ripping?authoring apps these daya i was wondering if it was now time to switch from xp to linux as my os as i no there is alot to be gained from the speed in linux
    or am i best going for a modified version of 2003 server and running it as a workstation
    any feedback reports please

    I'm about to attempt this on my digital video machine to see if any advantage can be gained from a Linux OS. I'm waiting on another hard drive to put Linux on so it'll be a week until I'm set up and experimenting.
