    when i start to encod with tmpgenc ( avi to svcd) apears a window :
    " the error occurred when ACM was initialized " . what does it mean

    did you try convert the audio to wav first and use it as audio source?

    Did you follow the tutorial on this site? Dont take this the wrong way, as I am not trying to insult your intelligence, but you REALLY REALLY need to follow the GUIDES on this website or doom9.org. Follow them step for step, then many of your questions will be answered. Just some words of advice from a pal trying to help you

    Baldrick,

    i dindīt convert audio to wav because i have already converted other movies just by loading the avi on video source in tmpgenc. maybe this one doesnīt work that way.

    i dindīt follow the tutorial on this site, or other sites


    P.S. i used DVD2SVCD with CCE to convert the movie
