I created a VCD title and burned it successfully. I used Philips VCD 2.0 Toolkit to make custom menus and all. The problem is :
If I play the ".DAT" file in computer using any media player, it plays well. No problem at all. But if I play it in my VCD Player (SONY DV-8000), the audio and video are NOT SYNCHRONIZED. THEY ARE OUT OF PHASE!! Everything else played and worked well. I have some 15 menus in my title. All of them worked well without any problem. The problem is of AUDIO AND VIDEO SYNCHRONIZATION (Only in VCD Player; NOT IN COMPUTER). I converted the ".AVI" file to ".MPG". Also there was no problem with audio and video in this mpg file when I played it in my comp. A/V sync problem is only during playback in standalone Player.
What could be the problem? I burned the VCD at 16x using NERO 5.5.10.0. I used the ".CUE" file created by PHILIPS VCD 2.0 Toolkit.
PLEASE HELP ME.
