Im trying backing up with big 3 but DC4U always include audio creating error on AcmStreamFailed so i have to manually encode every video. If someone can solve this problem please tell me.
But my question is do i need to do pulldown after i manually encode my video? if So am i using Dif4u? I did try before but it does 2:3 pulldown. Is it 2:3 or 3:2 pulldown? Dont know if its because its good already and did the opposite making 2:3 instead of 3:2.
So please clarify what pulldown i need to do and if it is necessary

don't know much about doitfast4u or docce4u as I haven't used them but when you run force film it lowers the fps to 23.97 for reencoding..you need to insert the pulldown flags afterwards using pulldown.exe.
You can also reencode without running force film and leaving the film at 29.97fps while reencoding..some people actually prefer that method...i'm just not one of them. -
Thanks for the advice..And yes i just check the d2v file and its FILM aka 23.976 so I then have to make it NTSC 29.970. So when using pulldown what does it do? does 3:2 or 2:3? or is it the same thing?

When you run pulldown.exe it sets flags in the MPEG2 file to tell a DVD player to convert the 24fps FILM to 30fps NTSC on playback. Some programs call it 3:2, some call it 2:3, but they mean same thing. tmpgenc has an option to add those flags on the fly, but CCE does not so you have to use pulldown.exe to add them after encoding.

Actually, later versions of CCE do have the option to add the pulldown flags on the fly as well.
