  1. I have three m2v and wav files for a movie..I want to merge them into one file...I tried using tools of tmpegenc...but that seems only to do the video...how to I do the audio as well?

    tmpg and bbmpeg can only multiplex (put audio and video together) with mpeg audio layers I and II (.mp1, .mp2, or .mpa) and dolby digital (.ac3) audio compressions. I'm not sure what program will mux (multiplex) .wav with mpeg-2 video. you could compress the .wav to mp2 with tmpg, if you want to use the video for svcd or dvds if you live in europe (or your dvd player supports it), or to .ac3 with besweet for dvd or computer applications. then you can use the merge in the mpegtools in tmpg. When tmpg merges or cuts it demuxes first, cuts video and audio, then remuxes the cut video and audio; so, if you find a program to put .wav audio and .m2v video together you can't merge with tmpg.
