OK, is this a silly question ?
I know the Proccessor makes loads of differance but , does the Graphics card make any differance to speed and quality when capturing VCD's in TmpEnc ?
& if so which is the best card to go for (I already have GForce II MX400)

The capure card, processor, amount of RAM and HD speed are all deciding factors in the capture quality. The minimum specs should be 128RAM a 500MHz CPU and an ATA66 drive. A straight graphics card won't make any difference in the conversion quality since at this point it all depends on the quality of the capture source, the conversion program and the processor.
