  1. Hi,

When I use Tmpgenc to convert a SVCD or DVD in the output video there are small squares ( 9 small squares that form a bigger square) that appears on the video. These squares jump around the screen starting near the top left corner.

Is this some kind of watermark created by Tmpgenc.

Sounds weird but it is hard to describe these jumping squares.

    thanks.

It's from the Elecard mpeg2 codec, demo version. If you remove it and install Powerdvd or other software DVD player it will install an mpeg2 codec as part of the package.

  3. BINGO! I had the exact same problem. I uninstalled Elecard and installed PowerDVD.......NO MORE JUMPING BOX!!!

    Good luck!

  4. But, is there a way to tell TMPGEnc not to use Elecard while it is still in system? Namely ProgDVB requires Elecard drivers.
