    Hi, I've converted few files from VHS to svcd using canopus procoder.
    The converted files plays perfectly on computer (either from HD or burned CD-R) but audio is out of sync when played on TV, any suggestions?
    I'm using nero software for burning and power dvd for pc playback,thanks. DVD model is Toshiba SD-1300

    most likely your audio is recorded at a variable bitrate instead of a constant bitrate

    Did you look up your player in the DVD Players section? You should, it has problems with some SVCD's.

    Thanks! didn't realise it, I just saw the specs in this forum showing it supproted both svcd and xvcd but did not read the comments.
