  1. I have converted a couple of DVD Video TS folders to .avi movies using the Divx (libavc) quick presets. Afterwards I use Avi2Mov or DivXDoctorII to make a .mov file. The sound is always slightly out of sync, about half a second or so. Is there a simple solution for this?

  2. Is the .avi file in sync if you play it with Mplayer OSX?

  3. No, the sound is already out of sync when I play the .avi file in MPlayer (preview mode).

  4. You could use QT Mutator on the .mov file and sync it back.

  5. Thanks. I've downloaded QT Mutator and have tried it a bit. It isn't easy to make the sync right, but it works. Thanks for your help!

most of the avis i made are a bit out of synch when played in mplayer but play fine in vlc. using framedrop in mplayer helps a bit and you can adjust A-V delay with the + and - keys.
