I live in the UK (Pal) and using the trial of DVDLab (due to all the customising the prog can do) . I`ve gone through the dedicated DVDLab forum but it`s more of a bugpost forum with no real questions being answered .
Anyway after making my compilation of music videos and then burning , my dvd player won`t show any of the menu texts or even allow me to navigate at all - this is burning with the preferences set to PAL (full D1) .
But if I burn it as a NTSC project (although it warns me that the project is NTSC but all the videos are PAL , it still lets me burn it ) the menu texts will come up - but the picture is squashed down to 720x480 from the what it should be 720x576 , its doing my head in , any ideas much appreciated .

ps my dvd player does allow menus , projects burned in Ulead MFactory 2 play fine .

The problem right now is that DVD-Lab is a new program.

The author, Oscar, has just released version 1.2.1

Give that one a try, he has fixed several things. His situation is, he lives in Canada, so can only test on NTSC. He has testers in Britain and Europe, but of course they are slower to test and find errors. They have to report to him, he has to try and fix it blind, then send them the patch, they test it, etc etc.

The program is so new, and everyone is learning it. Don't give up.
Have you tried going on the website and posting an email directly to Oscar?
