Just authored about 4.2 GIG of sipsons, intended to go onto DVD-R
Used TmpegEnc to do so, with the menus/thumbnails, but had to use the simple multlpex/ simple de-multeplex of the standard version to sort out an audio sync problem I had.

But now, when try to burn it, after a couple of minutes, I get the message Invallid block address, and it aborts.

Wht's kinda weird is that i have succssfully burnt the same project, but before I realised about the sync problem

Any ideas what caused this, or what i should do now?

  2. get dvd decrypter, use that to rip stuff, and get dvd2one and copy to dvd to compress to 1 dvd-r and copy to disc.
there the best programmes for the job.
but as for your nero problem,i had problems like that on some versions of nero, try upgrading it or reinstalling an older version.
some fixes on it might not fix other problems.i think the newest version of nero is out on the website www.nero.com.
but i had too many problems, skipping discs, not closing, unable to read media, not enough space on the media(that was a favorite of it).
changed my software, and now,not one problem.

  3. I've been having major issues with the latest Nero also (.35) It's been making coasters left and right. Tried different media, some from the same stack that were working prior to the update (mainly DVDs). Only thing that's worked for me is DVD-RW. I think I'll downgrade back to a previous version to see if that helps.

That's media related. Both Nero and RNMax gave burn probs at 20%.

There was a badge of Verbatim -R's which are not compatible with Sony 500 drives, ofcourse I had them and after a long time I read somewhere those gave problems.
Tried other media and never had the problem.
I bought new Verbatim -R and it still works great.
