I can't really find much information on these items. I was wanting to get something that would help stabalize my VHS captures. I ran across the Sima CopyMaster and the SCC Color Corrector in an old post, but no matter where I look, there isn't much information on what exactly these items do.
Could anyone please shed some light on these products?
thanks

The Copy Master is a simple device that will remove macrovision type 1,normally found on VHS tapes,I have one and it works. It's not effective on DVD. The SCC works on DVD as well as VHS because it regenerates the interval bar between frames. It will remove type 2 macrovision found on DVD disk. Neither will remove Digital copy protection,a hacked DVD player is needed for that. Digital copy protection would only be a problem if you wanted to make copies on standalone DVD recorder.

They have Time Base Correctors of all types and price ranges. Like the TBC-1000 Single Channel TBC which streets for around $289. Unless you want to buy another VCR with a TBC built in."Knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave."
