you will never solve your problem until you do two things.
one scan for bad frames in virtual dub and remove them. just because you don't BELIEVE that there aren't any bad frames does not make it so.
second you must get the
dx 50 codec which is not the same thing as the dixX 5 0 codec
get it? dx has two letters , divx has four letters.
you need the dx FIFTY codec not the divX Five Point whatever.

where is the dx 50 codec located? i searched google and i can't seem to find it anywhere.

Did you check your cpu temperature? I also had this problem and solved it by buying a new cpu fan.
