    <----- there's loads of guides and info on how to burn your dvd's...

    What you need is InstantCopy and not Instant CD/DVD... but I guess Instant CD/DVD works too but differently because it does 1:1 copies so you might end up with more than 1 DVD-R per movie. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

    Start looking at the guides as I said and maybe give DVDShrink a try.
    Born to frag... whoops, wrong forum. :)

  3. Sounds like your are new to this. Use DVDShrink to reencode it (reduce size so it will fit on a DVD), or reauther it if the file size is ok. Then burn it with a good burning apps like Prassi, Doom has good guide for it.

  5. Use DVD2one to compress your ripped files then Copy To DVD to burn

    Try the newbie forum, and try the guides.
    You need to encode (IC7, dvd2one) to reduce the original rip to a size that'll fit on a dvd-r (assuming it's over 4.3gb).
    Then you can burn.

    if he has a dual-layer DVD, he can't just split the files b/w 2 DVD-Rs. he needs to use dvdxopy or dvdfab to split the DVD into two DVD-Rs (to preserve the menu on both discs, etc...)

    @vidiotzoom,

    so far, DVDShrink has worked very well for me. you should check it out. it transcodes dual-layer DVDs to single-layer DVD-Rs. it gives you the option of keeping everything from the original DVD (menus, extras, etc...) or just the main movie.

    btw, best bet is to stick with latest version 2.3 --- i heard earlier versions may give you some problems. it's also free, btw. most other transcoders cost money (i would say at least $30, unless you got hacked or patched version)
