Hello again,
I don't know what makes me keep trying to do this, I have a pile of hair on the floor that I could use to stuff a mattress!
In any event here is the latest fiasco:
1/ I take a DivX .avi and let Ulead MF2 convert it so I can author it
2/ I try to use those files the Video_TS, .VOB .IFO .BUF ( I think that's all ) to let Nero create a DVD, of course it won't! I can't drag and drop the files into the pane on the left.. so I give that idea up.
3/ I try to use InstantCopy to make the DVD ( someone here suggested it)
4/ I run InstantCopy and it takes forever and a day to 'examine' all the files, literally playing the movie over and over one section at a time.
5/ Finally it starts to burn the DVD magically it fit 2hours of movie onto one DVD.. I was thrilled!!
6/ I put the DVD in the player and voila` it plays and looks decent !! I was so happy ..... then about 1 hour into the video I start to get AUDIO FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO @!^%$#@*&@@ It's not overlapping what should be there, it replaces the original, of course it's not in sync with anything on the screen.
7/ I get on my hands and knees and thank the powers that be, that I don't have to make DVD's for a living!!!
How in the heck did the audio from the first portion get onto the last hour's worth?? It was all going so well >: I am betting that I have Ulead to thank for this (again) but you tell me.
Thanks for your patience in replying to all my psotings!
