I was wondering if I was making an XVCD and the AVI I have has 480x360, what should I do? I want to achieve the highest quality possible. Should I make the size 480x480 or just leave it at 480x360? If I leave it at that, what would happen on the TV? Would it be stretched?

480x360 is NOT a safe NTSC resolution, I doubt it would play on your TV at all. You should re-encode to a NTSC safe resolution. In theory this can be anything that's divisible by 16, however to be safe stick to:
720/704/480/352 x 480/240
Due to the way NTSC interlaced TVs work I would only use horizontal resolutions of 480 (both fields) or 240 (one field). -
Ok. Ah! I just found out through VDub that my files were corrupted. How do I make them normal?
