Ok, i am slowly learning, but i am now getting a floating point error. I know what frame it occurs on, and have run divfix and virtual dub on it, but i guess not correctly as it stil;l freezes up at the same point.
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks
Scott

Let's take a step back. What is the source file?
Hello. -
When you say you ran Virtual Dub om it, do you mean you selected Video-->Scan video stream for errors?
Hello. -
yep. and it said it found some errors.. i think it was 7 frames that were unreadable, and 140 that were readable but had problems.

And you know how to delete the bad frames and save the video to a new file name?
Hello. -
if it doesn't do it automatically, then i gues i haven;'t been deleting the bad frames.. how do you do that...
Also will deleting the bad frames start to cause a lag in the audio?
Scott -
It seems that i was able to process the video, but there now seems to be an audio lag. It starts out ok, but within a few minutes the audio and video are seriously out of sinc...
I gotta say there is more to this than i had expected
