  1. Ok I searched a lot of threads... I was converting avi to mpeg2 audio and video and after three tries and nine hours lost I thought I should ask for help.
    I have audio loss after aprox. 6 seconds I am at a loss here any help would be great.

    If you give your conversion method then it's easier to give suggestions, the more details the better.

    Some suggestions though:

    Scan and remove bad frames using Virtualdub, look in the guides section.

    Extract a wav file (after scanning) and use that as your audio source, I prefer Goldwave.

  3. Thank you ! There might be more problems then what its worth to convert these from avi to mpeg. They have no problem converting to vcd for some reason........ ? These file sources were hand me downs from a web source. video Q is good even in vcd so maybe I should just let it go... and wait il the box set comes out on dvd. But you know what they say the Matrix has you ...... I can live til nov dvd release with vcd quality
