When I load an mpg file and select the demultiplex option to extract m2v video steam, only half of the original mpg file is extracted. This keeps happening, can anyone tell me why?

Yes. The file has been joined at some time leaving end markers in the video stream.
Re-encode the file as one piece in tmpgenc and you'll have no more problems. -
What do you mean by reencode the file? What I did was merge 2 mpg files. After that, how do I reencode?
