  1. I have been trying to reduce Gangs Of New York from the original 2 DVDs to 1 but with only partial success. The problem is that the sound sync goes out by about 3 seconds by the end of the movie. The procedures I have taken are as follows:

Ripped with both discs DVD Decrypter
Run both sets of vobs through DVD2AVI creating 1 .d2v file
    Run this through VFAPICONV
    Run through CCE
Loaded M2V file and Ac3 files into Maestro Ac3 comes up 3 seconds shorter than M2V file.
    Compile DVD with Maestro.
When checked the audio is out of sync in the second half of the film.

  2. why dont you try doing each disc seperatly with cce (saving enough space for the other) then load both m2v files in maestro and create sync audio with the two ac3 files.

  4. import all your assets as usual then put the two m2v files on the same timeline, then right click on the audio timeline and select create sync audio.
this should show you which audio will sync to which m2v ( i always name mine 1,2,3 etc), press create audio. when its finished you will have one complete audio file.
