Help with these m2v file thingamajigs :S

hi i just captured a vhs tape to my hard drive using pinnacle studio deluxe 8.7, ive created all the menus etc. i am now at the authoring stage, i want to put it on dvdr first i tried burn directly to dvd-r after 3 hours of encoding a big error message popped up saying i had inserted incorrect media, i know for a fact its correct :/. Anyway i then chose the create disc content instead of burn directly to dvdr, it has now finished the process and i have ended up with these files (see screenshot) http://www.zen14331.zen.co.uk/Image1.jpg
now i do not know how to burn these files to dvdr to make one that will work in dvd players... wht do i do with these files??????????????/ plz i need help!!!!!

you'll need some sort of DVD authoring program to make menus, etc, and multiplex/author the disc as necessary.

sorry, can't help you any more than that as i'm not a PC user. i've heard tmpgenc dvd author is good though.
