im sure just about every person has their picky ways with all these powerful filters for vdub. id just like to hear about everyones experiences and hardships. i try not to use a lot: (in this order).
1. deinterlace (blend), only if its an interlaced reduction.
2. dynamic noise reduction (theshold = 6)
3. smart smoother (diameter = 3, theshold = 50)
4. resize 352 x 240 (precise bilinear for reduction)
(precise bicubic for enlarging 320 x 240)
my final product looks excellent, but my only beef is that it seems a bit too blurry for my likings. the blur does dramatically eliminates most block noise, but i would still like to see some sharp images for better clarity.
does anyone have any options or answers to this? people, share your procedures. i dont know much about filters, so itd be nice to hear some experienced voices out there. hopefully we can get a better understanding of these filters in order to apply them to perfection or close to that. CIAO and thanks.

Maybe the new "warp sharp" filter helps you to sharpen your image.
