    Trying to rip a DVDR using Smartripper, trouble is get a green screen in Smartripper, rips but DVD2AVI dont isn't happy to accept the files - HELP please

  2. you should just be able to copy the files off the dvdr since it doesnt have any kind of protection..

    you can try dvd decrypter.. www.dvddecrypter.com

  3. If you don't just want to copy the files, you can use DVD Decrypter. All you would need to do is goto to the settings and uncheck all settings that would normally be needed such as remove protection and macrovision,etc. also the css key needs to be set to none. This is handy if you only want one secction (eg movie only) of a dvd-r. 8)
