  1. After two coasters were created last night I have these tips of what not to do when writing a DVD-R.
    1. Don't open up Windows Media Player while writing is taking place.
    2. Don't try and write data tat is from a hard disk that is very fragmented.

Moral of this story is Run Scandisk after your system has crashed. I am sure both these problems would not have happened if I had treated my computer a bit better.

For the most part you should just LEAVE the computer alone when BURNING ... otherwise if you try to do something else you risk ruining the BURN process.

  4. Not to be the devil`s advocate but I just tried
watching a DVD movie and surfing the net
    during burning a DVD+RW.
    Burnt and played perfectly.
That doesn`t mean I would ever do the same with a non RW disc
