Hello,
When i am capturing from my TV, using Virtual Dub, the capturing stops at 3 minutes, and my whole computer stops.
I'm capturing at 480x576, using MJPEG-codec-compression at quality : 18.
The AVI will be stored at a 20GB Harddisk, and i'm using this HD only for capturing, or converting DVD to MPG.
During the capture, my CPU was between 30-60 % in use, and i had no frames dropped, but at 3 minutes....STOPS the PC.
Anyone an idea what is going wrong ??
My system :
AMD Athlon 1400mhz, 256mb memory, 10GB,20GB HD. And capturing with an Pinnacle PC-TV-RAVE.
Who can help me with my capture-problem with Virtual Dub ?

couple more questions:
- do u have an ati for your video display card?
- u don't, per chance, have the screen saver enabled, do u? -
Some *rare* cases could be...
1) Your TV Card gets overheated and locks up
2) The hard drive you're capturing to had bad sectors
3) If it's a new system, your motherboard might not be friendly with the TV Tuner (I had Asus A7A266 Mobo previously, it would lock up EVERY TIME I try to access my ATI TV Wonder or Pinnacle Studio PCTV Pro)
