  1. OK i have a movie file that i want to convert,it is a XVID with mpeg layer 3 audio and i want to convert it to DVD,but every program i have used (ulead mf2,tmpenc,ifoedit)have either made the conversion to big or the sound dissapears half way through the movie??
    I have tried ripping the audio seperate from the movie also but still had no luck??so can anyone help me please with my situation..all i want to do is fit my film onto dvd with no problems....is that such a hard task???

  3. I have followed the guides and still i have problems like i said...
    The main prob is size after i converted the movie i got with tmpenc you can only lower the settings so much and it still leaves it too big...so i dont know what i am doing wrong??

  4. The size of the final mpeg is dependant on the bitrate and the movie length, nothing else. If the file you are getting is too big, use a lower bitrate. If the TmpGenc wizard won't let you (I don't know as I never use the wizard), before encoding, click the load button in the bottom RH corner of the TmpGenc window and select unlock.mcf from the extras folder. Then click settings and set the bitarte to whatever you need.

    I suggest you encode the audio to mp2, not wav, for much smaller size and ensure your DVD authoring program, and player will accept this.
