  2. Thanks for the link. It's pretty much the same info as on Nero's site. I guess they're keeping tight-lipped about it until it hits the shelves. I can wait - not that I have a choice....

  5. Speak for yourself - Nero has always worked flawlessly for DVD's for me.

My crappy authoring has let me down in the past before now, though...

  6. What's up with Nero ?

The version was supposed to be available about a week ago, but now they have pushed it back to July 25, - they say on their site that it's because of last minute bonus additions, sounds like of flakey, - some computer stores have already received versions a week ago, and now the official website says it's not even released yet.

Does anyone have a clue ?

I bought Nero 6 Ultra Edition at Best Buy yesterday, $79.99 with a $20 gift card by mail. Hopefully, extra features will be available for download.

  8. Thanks for the reply.

I hope so also. I personally would be a bit ticked off. How does a large company lik that sell the software at major suppliers as new, and then a week later decide to add stuff into it and now re-package it....

    just sounds kookie.

Anyway I'm buying a DVD burner this week and hope to buy that software also, as it seems the way to go.

  9. I have Nero 6.0.0.0 and it is okay. If you still have version 5.5.10.42 Enterprise Edition you should be fine. There isn't that much of a difference in the new version. Except for the upgraded look and that it is a bit slower. I'm thinking that it uses up alot of virtual memory in order to decrease underrun for bad burners? I'm not too sure about that.
