I ran my first test this weekend and everything went well except for one thing.
Can I size the movie so instead of fitting on two CD's that it will fit on one? I realize that the quality will be significantly reduced but would prefer this over having two VCD's.
Also, someone mentioned something about a calculator for determining bitrates that I will need. Where is this located since I couldn't find it on this site.
I'm using TMPGEnc as my encoding software if this helps.

Look on the left side of your broweser, in the tools section (located under "Other"). There you will find several Bitrate Calculators.

Just to let you know, you do realize downsampling a movie to fit to one CD will *dramatically* decrease the quality. It will probably look even worse than Camcorder Tapes...
