Is there a program to make picture CD's with music, pics etc

I have Roxio PhotoSuite 5 which will make a picture CD to play on a DVD player but it wont let me customize things enough. I wanted to add my own back grounds and different sound clips for each picture. I know that would take forever to do but i have time to kill.

DVD Complete makes nice slide shows with menus and you can import your own music to match the mood of the slide shows with a wav editor then import and author.

Be advised support for the program sucks.

Ulead DVD Picture show 2. You can do VCD or DVD picture shows. Check out the reviews in the Tools section to the left on this site and see if it fits your requirements?

If you want to have the picture stay for the entire song then increase the duration to equal the music length. You could have up to 99 one(or more) picture(s) perslidshow with one song(or more). You can add background music and pictures for the menu page.

Yes you are correct Dazzle, where are my manners [see link]. I am sure there are other programs that do this but this is just what I use. My wife is a Dig still pic freak and I find this the easiest way for me to put her stuff on CD or DVD with music for friends and relatives.

Doesn't Dazzle make another program called On DVD? I think It came with some hardware I bought last year. If I remember correctly it was very simple to use and made picture CD's but the features were limited, it depends on what you want to do.

I do know that the Dazzle support was bad and I ended up returning there DVC100 capture system. Also you might be able to get the software Free from there support site becuase basically the software that ships with product needed so many patches that I was able to find complete update versions for downloading with there forum. But that was a year ago.
