I am getting the following error message when I try to start the program. I'm not running winice or softice or any other debugger I'm aware of. Also I'm running Win2k. Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas? Thanks

Anyone have any ideas? The tech support link at Elby is down. I've tried unloading the stuff that's running in the system tray, but that didn't work. Rebooting didn't work. I wonder if there's some kind of spyware running, but I haven't had a chance to run adaware or Soybot yet....

Don't have the problem on my other computer (the one without a dvd burner

    Thanks

I got the same error message, except that I was trying to launch DVD2One 1.2.1. I have no problem running CloneDVD, though. I tried running Adaware 6.0, but it didn't help. I am using Win2k.

    Anybody has any idea?

Just fixed my problem. Turned out that a file installed by Ulead graphics program is the culprit.

    The fix: rename or delete

    C:/winnt/system32/drivers/amdfix.sys

    or

    C:/Windows/system32/drivers/amdfix.sys

    depending which OS you're running.

This "bug" is a feature of the protection module (from Asprotect) these program are using.

    Good luck!
