Does anybody know any devices that blocks macrovision from Vcr tapes?

  2. Yeah, I have one. It works great, except for the annoying little habit it has of also killing the part of the picture that my DC10+ needs to see in order for it to "latch onto" the picture for a capture. I also learned that feeding such damaged tape through this card to another vcr or card will restore the signal (not the macrovision). I have also learned by this that running a video signal through this card to another vcr will kill the macrovision all by itself!

But, if you ain't got a card, and don't intend to make a VCD out of it later, I can sell you my protection remover.
