No matter what ripping program I use I have problems ripping material from DVDs done with a Panasonic E20 and then imported into Pinnacle Impression for reuse.
Basically they import OK, but are shown as being 704 x 576 (being PAL they should be 720 x 576) and when I try to use them Impression freezes.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is and what the solution is?
Many Thanks

I just posted elsewhere with this same issue (however, I am NTSC and my problem is 704x 480). I have to reencode the home movie made from my E20 to 720x480 to play in a DVD player. MF2 or sonic MyDVD wont take the files. I think its that darn 704 lines. From other readings it is a valid resolution.
I am doing searches trying to find out what I need to change, but figured I would drop a note here to see if you are anyone has a way to do it.
