I have been working to encode a movie for almost 2 weeks now.
The original AVI is fine.
When I converted it using TMPG and burned in Easy CD, when played on my DVD player (Apex) it had the lip sync probs.
I saw from this site, that Nero had the "turn off standard compliance" feature, that could help this.
The converted MPEG file plays fine on the PC.
I burned it with Nero (although we had to use 5.1.0.8 to get Nero to work at all) and it still had the problems, so I thought if I re-encoded the AVI, possibly it would work.
I used the encoding feature within Nero and it works fine, it goes along until about 40 mins into the video and then the screen locks up and the audio continues.
I checked and it does the same on the PC and stand-alone player both. Both at the same spot.
I thought maybe it was a bad encoding and tried again (again with Nero) and it locked up in the same place.
Any ideas?
I am not married to any software, so any suggestions are welcome. I just want to produce some quality VCD's.
Thanks in advance.
