I currently am using a notebook connected to a projector to give presentations. I was thinking of purchasing the Margi display to go pcmcia vga adapter. What I am wanting to do is this: my notebook screen will allow me to see what will be projected and the pcmcia card would actually do the projecting. My problem is I cannot justify the $299 for the card. My projector has USB is this another option? I want to incorporate dual monitors, I could easily add anohter PCI video card into a standard workstation and accomplish what I need to do, just don't want to carry that box around with me. That is why I am looking into way to do this with a notebook and a very low budget. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

Are you saying you've been connecting your projector to the VGA output of your notebook and you'd like to see your notebook screen at the same time? Is that what you're trying to get at?
Most notebooks allow for this -- my Dell Inspiron does this by means of a keyboard toggle that allows either or both the notebook display as well as the VGA outs to be active -- so you ought to make sure you don't already have this ability (if you can't find it in the manual contact your notebook manufacturer)."Like a knife, he cuts through life, like every day's his last" -- Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
