    Hi,
    I need to capture directly in MPEG 2 with Pinnacle DC10 Plus. Can anybody help me??

    Hi there

    To the best of my knowledge, you cannot capture to MPEG with a DC10 Plus. You can only capture to AVI and then convert to MPEG. That may however be dependant on what driver software you are using.
    Try the pinnaclesys forum. I know that you will find the answer there.

    I don't think you can capture direct to mpeg-2 - the DC10+ uses hardware compression, so you can only capture to mjpeg .avi.

    that's why I stopped using it and got a different card.
