  2. These are "Gigastorage" disks, being sold under the name Prime Disk by Meritline. I have read up on these and they seem great for the money. They are a little more sensitive then some other disks out there, but work excellent.

Wouldn't the Riteks be better value. If you can get them of course.

A concise answer to your question is that, no, Ritek wouldn't be a better "value." These are 4x disks and you can get them for around $1.25 a piece. Ritek 4x disks are more expensive. It's really what you want to spend. From what i've heard and read on these Prime disks though, they work great, they may just be a little more sensitive to scratching, etc. All disks are sensitive to an extent though.

I have a sample pack coming and have some Prime disks coming as well..i'll post my results from these disks as well as others some time tomorrow or Friday.

$1.35 for the prime and $1.59 for the 4X Riteks. @ meritline that is.

If the prime performs as well as Riteks it would be a good back-up or #1.

Has anyone burned 100's of these Primes? I am interested if they are consistant like the Riteks.

    Thanks
