Was Anyone here able to make windows XP recognize the Capture Driver or make it work.

can anyone help me with installing carture driver that will work for WinXP.

Hello,

I have the ASUS 6800 with videocapture so maybe the following won't apply to your card.

I installed the ASUS Live Capture drivers downloadable from their homepage (the latest version) and they work with XP. But XP doesn't recognize them, so the driver is listed as Unknown Device in the Device Manager.

Nevertheless, the ASUS Live software capture program will work, and it works with VirtualDub too when rebooted. Though it will bluescreen if you try to use any other resolution than those supported by the capture drivers.
