Like many others, I've had some problems with playback when I labeled my dvd-r's. I ordered some hub labels (the ones that are just 2" or so in diameter) the other day, but was wondering if anybody had experience with them, whether they caused any problems, etc.

No prolems here. I use SureThing label software, and a link to CDcovers.cc. If the DVD disk labels covers the entire disk on the original, I shrink it down to the hub's size.
If it is just a plain disk with only the title on it, I take a picture of the cover, shrink it down to hub's size, etc. Of course, if the web site does not have my labels, I simply scan the original to a JPEG image, copy and paste it to SureThing, shrink it, etc.Hello. -
Can you still tell what movies they are with that big hole in the center?
I was planning on putting not much more than plain text in a circular fashion around the label. I figured that the small size of the label overall would make it hard to tell what it was. -
Yes, Remeber, you print will be large enough to be read, on the cover image will be unmistakeable.
Hello.
