Photo CD with WinOnCD

I've been reading some of the posts about picture dimensions, etc., but it doesn't really help. My problem is as follows: my pictures go off the top of the screen leaving a long blank bar across the bottom. This applies to the title/menu screen as well. Any ideas?

I can tell you that this is definitely not normal (or common).

Perhaps you are having a strange PAL/NTSC incompatibility problem...

If you live in North America or Japan, you should create your VCDs using NTSC.

If you live anywhere else, you should use PAL.

Is this the problem?

Well I am in North America and I tried NTSC. The strange thing is that I get the screwed up pictures I mentioned earlier when I use PAL, but when I use NTSC I get NOTHING! It's driving me nuts. The player says it's playing and I get the "PBC" display but no menu, no title and no pics! Any other ideas?
