    Trying to install .NET framework and keep getting an internal error.
    Stops installing at netfx.msi

    Anyone any ideas?

    My OS is XP Pro and the error message is as follows..

    Internal Error 2755. 1601,
    G:\DOCUM~1\LOCALS~1\TEMP\IXP000\netfx.msi

    Does that help solve any problems bud?

    install it logged in as the administrator ... or drill to that directory and install the installer from there (*.msi is the installer). The dir name is missing the ussual logged in as prefix ..

    dont call me "bud" either - i'm not part of a plant..

    thanx BJ_M, but how do i get into admin user. I logged out and all there is, is my user name, no administrator?

    As u can see i'm new to XP.
    Could u explain how to force the .msi installer to install....
